25 lbs or less. Right now mine is 26 lbs, but I have a bunch of shitty, heavy parts on mine still.

Ok for bmx weight its going to be anything under 30lbs

28lbs is good aswell as 26lbs anything lower is going to get pricy.

My suggestion though is dont base your spending on just weight alone because usually lighter bikes or products can tend to be not as durable.

What i reccomend though is dont pay too much attention to weight because as a begginer weight can be very good at times because you will get stronger.

Weight whores.....LOL the first bmx bike I ever had was 42lbs....so when I got my wtp about a year and a half ago 28 lbs it was super light to me I got it down to 26 with no pegs roughly 27 with pegs so that's light to me....

Anything under 28 is good to learn on, and upgrade as you go. My bike right now is in the 23-22 weight range which is really light.

my bike is 40 lbs and i still use it, it's good for practicing bunnyhop though but so hard to land tricks like 180 or 360, you need all your strength to get the bike turn.
