| Are forks one size fits all or do those seemingly random numbers actually mean something. For instance when it says " 1 1/8" Steer Tube" Does that mean it will only fit certain bike, or just the angle, or what? I just want to make sure I don't blow $50 on forks and find out I didn't order the right ones. | |

| The most common size is 1 1/8". Pretty sure your frame is the same. Get good forks or its not even worth it. The odyssey CS2 race are great. They have a C&C bearing stay already on the steertube they fit nice. Really strong and light as well. Lifetime Guaranteed Warranty. Shadow creepers are good to. Or S&M pitch forks...or the fit blades | |

| I was looking at the volume feather weights. They're about 40 oz. and they have a lifetime guarantee. | |

| Thing is, I don't have much money to put into this. The volume forks are $40 with free shipping. If you can show me lighter forks, with a lifetime guarantee, cheaper than $40, by all means do it. | |

| not exactly i got some used stolen cell bars for 10$ and they have been great. Also some eastern nitrous forks for 10$ and they have been good. I would say just as long as you dont go super cheap out and dont cheap out on things like rims and cranks and frames you should be fine. Stems and bars and other things should be pretty fine just as long as they are not too cheap to even consider. | |

| It doesn't matter if they do break, because of the lifetime guarantee. I'm gonna get the volume feather weights, and if I see better forks cheaper, I'll get them. So far they're decently light, cheap, and have that lifetime guarantee. So yeah, question answered. Thanks. | |
