Hey all Smile I'm a regular on the Yahoo Answers site, mainly BMX related answers, but I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, too, so I post up in Diet and Fitness when I can be assed.
I've been riding Flatland for 3 years, and won a few comps over here in Australia, and just took out the Expert Flatland class at the BMX Games in January, which was a great achievement for me.
I love to ride everyday if I can, but work and injuries (rolled ankle at the moment) prevent me from doing that, sometimes. I'm 32yrs old, love my BMX, X-Box, and playing guitars.
I joined this forum after reading about it on the Y!A forum, and hopefully I can lend some advice or tips to anyone who visits the site. Whether you ride Flat, Street, Park or Vert (dirt, too Smile), we're all BMX riders and can learn from each other.
Now get out there and rider ur damn bike, assay..!!

For sure, Nazsh, getting kids interested in BMX and away from the X-Box. Hopefully we can encourage some kids to do that with this site.

As far as comps go, my first win was a local Huck Fest. Small time, but ur first win is always sweet. lol After that, there was a 6th placing at the Australian BMX Games, a 4th at the '3053' comp in Melbourne Aus, a 2nd and a 1st in the 4-stage 'DownUnderGround Flatland comp series' (3rd stop is on this Saturday n Sydney), and a 1st in the Expert-class Australian BMX Games in Melbourne, in January. I also do demo's here and there with my mates BMX stunt squad, 'Freestyle Now', which usually consists of 2 ramp riders and 2 Flatland riders, doing shows at Festivals and events.
I prefer to ride alone, or with a couple of mates, and a few times a year, there are Jams held in different states across Australia, giving the Aussie Flatland community a chance to catch up, socialise, and ride together. Good times, good times Smile
THis Saturday, I'll be riding on an ankle that was rolled a week ago. Most of the swelling has gone, but it's still tender, so I bought some Cold Spray, instant ice packs, strapping tape, and some wraps to secure that sucker in place when I ride. Let's see how it goes Smile lol
