Should I get the Verde VEX?

I'm getting a new bike soon and the one I'm gunna get is the 2009 Verde Vex [url] http://www.danscomp.com/101499.php?cat=BIKES [/url]
post what you think of this bike and your opinions on what i should get
(price range is 300 - 400)

Ok brendan you are in the exact same price range as another user who just posted in the new to bmx so take a look at that topic for some ideas.

I would recommend the FIT STR 1 or if you want brakes and an identical bike, The FIT TRL 1.

I'd say the fit trail 1 is good

ok well I talked to my friends and they said that the fit trl / str 1, 2, & 3 arent tht gud
They said that they blow all around and the vex is much better

I have personally riden the Fit PRK signature, TRL 1, PRK 1, and the STR 1. They are fantastic, well made bikes. They are well worth the money, and pay for themselves.

I guess I see where you are coming from but the vex is amazing
its lighter (including pegs)
has a larger frame
a few nicer parts
and IMO it looks cool

BTW: have you ever ridden the Vex?

Actually they have an equal amount of sealed parts. It is lighter which I hadn't noticed before. It's only longer by .25 of an inch, not really noticeable. Another thing I noticed when comparing them is that the VEX offers an integrated headset, while the FIT has a standard one. Integrated are nicer.

I have never riden the VEX, partially because I have never seen one in person. I absolutely love the purple VEX, the anodized rims are nice bonus too. So yeah, get the VEX, it's lighter and includes the two pegs you will need for grinding.
