Not another "OMG WHAT BIKE SHOULD I GET" thread

Hey guys, I was pretty much sitting on the toilet and had an epiphany. I wanted to start bmxing. I read some threads about what kinda bikes I should get, I think I have a few ideas. I'm looking to be into flatland freestyle. When I get good enough into this what parts should I upgrade first and what should I be focused on, Such as weight and other little things like that? Whats most important for flatland?
