Which bike should i get?

Subject: Which bike should i get? Sun Apr 26, 2009 8:58 am

Ill be riding some street occasionally but mostly dirt. No front breaks but back brakes i want. List bikes from 300-400? Thanks. These are the bikes i want, the first one i like the most.

these are bikes that i came across. I like the verde vex for the looks but which of these should i most likely get?

id say the verde vex is the best one you picked out nice light bike with good parts on it

thanks, it caught my eye because the colors were nice. so i should mor than likely get the verde vex? because i want one of those bikes that have good parts on it. and im not a big bike part guy who knows if parts are good or not.

Yeah the Vex is a good bike. I'd suggest the Kink Liberty, but you want breaks. On the up side, the Vex is lighter than the kink liberty. But yeah, the Vex has good pats, nice color options, and a nice price.

the vex is a great bike, but both hubs are unsealed, not good for dirt

fit str 1 or verde vex? i like the stock paint job on the str and i like the colored rims that it comes with. And the jumps im jumping arent big ass 7 feet jumps. Like 5 or 6 feet with a 4 or 5 foot gap at the most. For now

estimation of the verde vex without brakes? i just want a really light bike and im carefull when i bike so i could go brakeless.

if i bought the verde vex, and took off all of the brakes, would it be just as light, or lighter than the fit str 1. and which has better more durable parts.

Go with the STR. The frame at least has a chromoly toptube, which is stronger than the all hi-tense vex.

The Verde Vex is already lighter than Fit STR 1. Brakes generally weigh about 1 lb. So the Vex would be about 25lbs brakeless. The Vex definitely has more durable parts, ad has an integrated headtube and fork bearing race.

im confused, some people are saying the str because of chomoly toptube but then vista says the verde vex has more durable parts. So im gunna go with vista. Can you delete this thread now? since im gunna go with the vex i guess

Yeah the Vex is better than the STR. I'm not going to close every thread that has been answered. People just need to have common sense and check the last post dates before posting.
