| My cranks gave been making a squeaky noise lately. Almost as if something is grinding when I pedal. I tightened everything up and lubed the chain, but it still makes the noise when I pedal. It only happens when I am on the bike, not when I crank the tire around with my hand. Any help? | |

| take the cranks off and put a tiny thin layer of grease on the spindle where your crank arm sits and that should fix it i had the same problem for the longest time before i figured it out | |

| WD40 is not a lubricant. It is a degreaser. You should use something like silicone, barium, or lithium sprays or pastes for lubrication. | |
